ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has delivered a Distributed Control System (DCS), safety system and fire and gas system to control the production process on a newly built Floating Production Storage Offshore (FPSO) vessel for China National Offshore Oil Company.
The scope of supply consists of an ABB Advant control system, two Safeguard 415 safety systems, S100 I/O, S800 remote I/O and four Advant operator stations. Customer training is also included in the contract. “We are very glad to cooperate with the ship owners to offer ABB advanced solutions. We are confident that our state-of-art technology will help the customer again in this new area of business,” commented by Mr. Veli-Matti Reinikkala, Senior Vice President of ABB (China) Ltd.

China National Offshore Oil Company chose ABB because of the short delivery time, superior technology and competitive offering.
