On Nov. 24, CPF Train D oil treatment plant of Al-Ahdab Project was completed and put into operation, which marked that Al-Ahdab Project with crude oil productivity of 6 million t/a had been constructed and put into operation, 36 days earlier than the contract date (Dec. 30).

CPF oil treatment plants of Al-Ahdab Project included four trains (A/B/C/D). On June 21, when the Phase I Project with the capacity of 3 million t/a was completed, Train A/B oil treatment plants were put into service. In the next half year, affected by the policy change of custom clearance and duty free, Train C/D oil treatment plants had been postponed for 3 years before arriving on the site, which brought huge pressure to the site construction.

During construction, the Project Department actively helped the manufacturer to complete the installation of skid electrical instruments inside the Train C/D oil treatment plants to speed up the construction pace. It only spent a month and a half from installation to commission on the units’ two trains, which had been highly praised by the Owner. At present, the plant has reached a stage of stable production.
