17th Oct 2006

After a swift voyage from Pasir Gudang, Malaysia to the Amenan field offshore Nigeria with a stunning average speed of more than 10 knots, Fairmount's supertug FAIRMOUNT GLACIER and FAIRMOUNT FJELL arrived on time at the discharge location.

The 11,000 MT AMP-2 deck was carefully positioned over the jacket and a team of Fairmount's and our clients', SAIBOS / TECHNIP's , crew subsequently completed the float-over operation by putting the deck safely on the jacket on October 17th.
