March 14, 2006 ? Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC) today announced it is rescheduling the onsite construction work of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal at Bear Head, Nova Scotia, Canada, to match the timing of LNG supply, which should be determined over the next few quarters.

The Bear Head terminal is one of the most advanced new LNG import and regasification projects in North America, with the goal of delivering natural gas supply to Canadian Maritimes and U.S. Northeast markets. Anadarko intends to continue forward on critical-path items for the terminal's development, but to moderate site construction until LNG supply agreements are completed.
