AusGroup Limited (‘AGL’ or ‘AusGroup’ or the 'Group') is pleased to announce the award of a AU$34 million contract for the onshore painting and insulation for Woodside’s Pluto LNG Project.

The contract was awarded to AGC Industries Pty Ltd ('AGC'), AusGroup’s Australian subsidiary, who will undertake the painting and insulation works for the Pluto LNG onshore plant, located on the Burrup Peninsula in Western Australia, north of Dampier and next to the existing North West Shelf Karratha Gas Plant.

The scope of work includes the supply and installation of all insulation, cladding and ancillary materials; fabrication and application of cladding products; and painting and fireproofing coatings of the storage tanks and associated utilities, pipelines and jetty facilities.

Completion is scheduled for August 2010.

John Sheridan, Managing Director of AusGroup said “We are delighted to secure this contract. We are now providing our full range of services to Woodside in the construction and delivery of the Pluto LNG project. We look forward to working with Woodside to successfully deliver on all of our current Pluto contracts across our Group.”

The Group has now secured six contracts in relation to Woodside’s Pluto LNG Project. These contracts include fabrication services, construction services, scaffolding services and now painting and insulation services.
