It was signed by Petrobras in January 2010, the contract for construction of Platform P-61, with Floatec Singapore Pte Ltd, a joint venture between Keppel FELS and J. Ray McDermott.

The project scope consists of design, engineering, construction, maintenance and installation as well as a three-year contract to operate the P-61. Other services to be performed include the implementation of the basic design, risers, and systems and components of the P-61. platform, type TLWP (Tension-Leg Wellhead Platform), will operate the Papa-Terra field in the Campos Basin. The construction of the P-61 in BrasFels, will ensure that the contract meets the requirements of local content. It is expected that the completion of the work happens in mid-2013.
