2006

CACOUNA ENERGY awarded the FEED contract for the LNG import terminal planned in Cacouna, Quebec to an international consortium composed of: SOFREGAZ, TECHINT, VINCI Construction Grands Projets and ENTREPROSE Contracting - leading companies in engineering and construction. The planned facility will be located at Cacouna, Quebec, some fifteen kilometers to the North East of Rivière-du-Loup.

Cacouna Energy is a partnership between TransCanada Corporation and Petro-Canada, two of Canada's major energy companies. TransCanada will operate the facility while Petro-Canada will supply the LNG.
