On June 5, a celebration ceremony was held in Renaissance TEDA Hotel for the successful production preparation of PL 19-3 WHPC platform and a safe operation of zero-accident for 60,000 work hours. Bill McKenney and Rick Geshay representatives from ConocoPhillips, owner of PL 19-3 WHPC platform, as well as Jiang Xizhao, the president of the company, attended the ceremony and made congratulatory speeches. On the ceremony, ConocoPhillips awarded a safety prize to the company.

Mr. Jiang emphasized the importance of safety operation of offshore operation in his speech and pointed out that the achievements of HUC Joint Project Team were the outcome of joint efforts made by CNOOC, ConocoPhillips and HUC. He wished HUC Project Team had more excellent performances in the following platform construction.

WHPC platform stood as the first producing platform of the PL Phase II Project. Its production symbolized a phasic success of the PL phase II project.
