Consent for start-up of the Brynhild field

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has granted Lundin Norway AS consent to start up the Brynhild field in production licence 148, blocks 7/4 and 7/7.

The licensees are Lundin Norway AS (90%) and Talisman Norge AS (10%). Lundin Norway AS is the operator for the Brynhild field.

The Brynhild field is in the southern part of the North Sea, around 230 kilometres south-west of Stavanger. Water depth at the site is approx. 81 metres.

Production start-up is scheduled for October 2013.
