The executive committee of Euronav NV (EURONEXT BRUSSELS: EURN) is pleased to announce that on 4 January 2010 the FSO Asia, a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) service vessel owned by the joint venture in which OSG and Euronav NV each has a 50% interest, was successfully hooked-up at the Al Shaheen oil field. The provisional delivery of the FSO Asia to Maersk Oil Qatar will be followed by a commissioning period of up to 120 days at the field after which final delivery is expected to take place.
