In 2012 Dietsmann was awarded the Maintenance Engineering and Inspection contract for the Kharyaga Development Project Phase III Package 4 by Total E&P Russia.

The Kharyaga oil field is located 60 km north of the Arctic Circle, in the Nenets Autonomous Territory, in Russia’s oil-rich Timan-Pechora province in Western Siberia. Conditions at the Kharyaga field are harsh – winter temperatures can plummet to -65° C. Despite this production has continued uninterrupted since the field came on-stream fourteen years ago.

Dietsmann has been involved in the Kharyaga project since 2002 when it was awarded the contract for the long-term Global Operation & Maintenance of the Kharyaga Oil & Gas project – the first Russian contract awarded to Dietsmann.

This additional MEI contract for Kharyaga Development Project Phase III awarded to Dietsmann in 2012 has an initial duration of 24 months and involves primarily Maintenance, Inspection and Spare Parts Engineering related to the installation of the new Central Processing Facilities and camp. With this additional contract, the total workforce working on the Kharyaga Global Operation & Maintenance Contract and on the MEI Contract will be more than 110 in 2013.

Kharyaga Development Project Phase III involves progressively increasing the water injection capacity, developing additional reserves, improving plant operability, sustaining an output of 30,000 barrels a day, achieving 95% associated gas utilization and eliminating flaring. Throughout each new project development phase Dietsmann has adapted itself to the project evolution & development in order to best answer the client’s needs and maintain a very high standard of customer satisfaction. The Company’s outstanding reputation played a very important role in the winning of this contract.
