In August 2012, Dietsmann was awarded a Technical Assistance contract for the onshore Zubair Oil field in Iraq by Eni Zubair. The contract has an initial duration of 2 years and mobilization of the contract has commenced in 2013.

Zubair Oil field lies in the south east of Iraq, around 20 kilometres (km) south-west of the city of Basra, and is one of Iraq’s largest fields. It is one of the largest fields in the world and was discovered in 1949. It has 4.5 billion barrels of proven reserves and currently produces 195 thousand barrels per day.

Throughout each new project Dietsmann has adapted itself to its countries of operations in order to best answer the client’s needs and maintain a very high standard of customer satisfaction. The Company’s outstanding reputation played a very important role in the winning of this contract.
