FORTIES Alpha Satellite TEG dehydration Module

KANFA Aragon AS has successfully completed on-time delivery of a TEG Dehydration Module to OGN North Sea Ltd. for the Apache Forties Alpha Satellite Platform being built at OGNs yard in Newcastle. The EPC contract of the TEG Dehydration module was awarded by OGN to KANFA Aragon in April 18th 2011. The scope of supply included a Glycol Contactor and a TEG Regeneration Unit to meet dehydration requirements of 25 MMSCFD gas at water content in dry gas of 32.1 mg/Sm3. The module has a dry weight of 31 tons and foot print of 3600mmx6550mmx7080mm. The module was installed onboard the Forties Alpha Satellite Platform, only 3 days after dispatch from fabrication yard in Aberdeen. Hook-up and commissioning is scheduled for Q1 2012, and the platform will be delivered to Apache and planned to be put in operation on the Forties Field, Offshore UK in Q3 2012.
