Gazprom neftekhim Salavat JSC launches tests of columns at ELOU AVT-6 (Desalter and ADU/VDU)

Gasoline stabilizer K-206, the first one of four other columns at construction site of ELOU-AVT-6, was successfully tested upon strength. Topping column K-200, atmospheric column K-201 and vacuum column K-300 will be tested by the end of March. These columns were delivered to the construction site in components and then assembled directly at site.

Crude oil distillation unit ELOU AVT-6 consists of 11 modules. At present, construction & erection activities at each of them are entered into their closing step. Steel structures and equipment were completely installed, piping connection works for process equipment, erection of piping steel structures and installation of instruments and PCS (DCS) are under way.

Full-scale testing of the new unit is planned for this April followed by pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

For reference: Atmospheric/vacuum distillation unit ELOU AVT-6 with capacity of 6mta is designed for crude oil distillation. The commissioning of ELOU AVT-6 will allow to Gazprom neftekhim Salavat JSC to increase crude oil distillation capacities and refine separation process of desired cuts as well as to take out of operation outdated and worn out facilities AVT-1, AVT-4, ELOU-2, ELOU-5. Budgeted cost of plant construction is RUR 8.3 bln.
