Mumbai Refinery has commenced production of both Euro IV Petrol and Diesel.Euro IV fuels will go a long way in ensuring a much cleaner environment on account of lower amount of sulphur in diesel and lower sulphur and aromatic content in Petrol. The Sulphur content in diesel will reduce from 350 ppm to 50 ppm and in petrol from 150 ppm to 50 ppm.

The aromatics content in petrol will reduce from 42% to 35% by volume. This reduction will ensure lower emissions of green house gases and the better quality of air for breathing. Most of the Mumbai and Delhi cities demand of HSD/Petrol of Euro IV quality will be met by the Mumbai Refinery. .
