IKM Testing Spain announced today that it has been named as subcontractor by Dragados Offshore for pressure testing, bolt/torqueing, flushing and cleaning services on the South Arne Phase 3 field located offshore in the Danish sector of the North Sea.

The EPC award to Dragados includes two wellhead platform topsides with weights of 1,600 tons and 1,350 tons respectively, the two jackets supporting these platforms with a weight of 2,600 tons each, as well as detailed engineering, additional support for procurement assistance and construction site support.

South Arne Phase 3 Development is a project initiated by HESS Denmark and partners in order to utilize more oil and gas from their present license. The project consists of several sub-projects, among others a Greenfield and a Brownfield project. The projects will be concluded by the end of 2012.

The duration of the contract between IKM Testing Spain and Dragados Offshore is two month and starts in June 2012.
