Mazeikiu Nafta was notified by Druzhba about the break/leak in pipeline in Russian territory (pipeline between Bryansk and Novopolock), therefore the refinery was not receiving additional volumes of crude oil by the pipeline which was planned for July 29-31.

Mazeikiu Nafta has lowered its crude throughput to accommodate these short-term interruptions in crude deliveries by pipeline. Mazeikiu Nafta understands repairs were completed over the weekend and pumping at a low rate resumed to Novopolock, however Mazeikiu Nafta has not been informed as to when pumping will resume in refinery's direction.

Mazeikiu Nafta is importing crude oil through its Butinge terminal. Butinge will start unloading a 100 thousand tons vessel on August 1, followed by 2 additional deliveries in August. Mazeikiu Nafta is planning to refine 800 thousand tons in August.

In July Mazeikiu Nafta received 500 thousand tons of crude by pipeline and imported 100 thousand tons through its Butinge terminal.
