JGC takes pleasure in announcing that JGC has won a contract for the construction of a new sulfuric acid alkylation unit. from Chinese Petroleum Corporation.

  • Services to be rendered:Engineering, procurement (of equipment and materials) and construction (EPC)
  • Contract form : Lump-sum, full turnkey

5. Contract price:
Approx. US$ 100,000,000.-

6. Project Outline:

  • The purpose of this project is to construct an alkylation unit (8,600BPSD) within CPC's existing Taoyuan Refinery to produce component for high quality unleaded fuels with high octane rating. Other major facilities are a diene/partial olefin hydrogenation unit (8,337BPSD), a spent acid regeneration unit (100T/D), a C4 isomerization unit (5,320BPSD) and utility facilities.

  • ince awarded RDS Project in 1982, JGC have executed a number of projects in Taiwan for CPC such as CCR Reformer Project and Aromatics Plant Project. CPC's appreciation of JGC's abundant experiences and CPC's trust in JGC, cultivated through execution of past projects, have contributed largely to the contract award to JGC.
