March 2013

Alliance Oil has launched the production of Euro-5 standard gasoline at the Khabarovsk refinery. The whole production volume of gasoline A-80, A-92 and A-95 is now corresponding to the Euro-5 standard.

The production launch of the high quality gasoline was made through reconstruction of the AGFU facility and the isomerization section. Fuel of a higher technical standard is safer for the environment and is characterized by a minimum of benzene, sulfur and aromatics.

The Euro-5 gasoline is available for Alliance Oil's retail customers through the Company's network of 267 filling stations in the Russian Far East and Republic of Buryatia.

The modernisation of the refinery continues with a new hydroprocessing complex, scheduled to be launched into test operations in the third quarter of 2013. This will reduce emissions by 40% and allow the refinery to also produce diesel fuel up to Euro-5 standard.
