On December 9, 2011, LLOG Exploration successfully initiated production from the Who Dat development in Mississippi Canyon 503/504/547. LLOG is ramping up production and expects to achieve a rate of 20 MBOPD and 22 MMCFD from the three existing wells. The development plan for the field calls for the company to drill nine additional wells, which would fully utilize the 60 MBOPD and 150 MMCFD capacity of the floating production system.

LLOG’s Mandy project in Mississippi Canyon 199 and Goose project in Mississippi Canyon 751 are scheduled for startup in the first and second quarters of 2012, respectively. LLOG has the Noble Amos Runner rig on location at the SoB 2 prospect in Mississippi Canyon 431. SoB 2 is the first of several exploration wells that LLOG intends to drill with the rig.

“2012 is shaping up to be an exciting year for LLOG. The company is in excellent financial condition, and our operational plan includes a full year of production from Who Dat, the startup of two new deepwater development projects, and the resumption of our deepwater exploration program. We expect to more than double production volumes from these developed properties and add significant reserves from our 2012 exploration program,” said Scott Gutterman, President and CEO..
