Chubu Electric has agreed to install two additional LNG tanks (180,000 m3 per unit capacity) at our Kawagoe Thermal Power Plant facility in Kawagoe Cho, Mie Prefecture. Furthermore, the LNG receiving dock at the site will be extended in order to accommodate the largest class of 200,000 m3 LNG supertankers (currently, the dock can only handle 130,000 m3 class tankers).

These initiatives to augment our LNG storage and receiving capacity at the site will allow Chubu Electric to improve the stability and flexibility of our LNG energy supply.
