Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that TESV - a Consortium led by Tecnimont S.p.A. (Maire Tecnimont operating company) and including Sofregaz S.A. (also controlled by Maire Tecnimont), Vinci and Construction Grands Projects and Entrepose Contracting S.A. - has been selected by the German company DFTG (Deutsche Flüssigerdgas Terminal Gesellschaft mbH), controlled by E.ON, as the preferred bidder for the possible execution on a EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) lump sum turn key (LSTK) project basis of a 10.7 billion m3 LNG Regasification Terminal in Wilhelmshaven, Germany.

Final Investment Decision by DFTG is not yet finalized, and is currently expected to be taken in late summer of 2008. TESV is furthermore currently assisting DFTG with additional “Value Engineering” works aimed to optimize the investment cost and supporting DFTG as requested in its obligations towards the Authorities.
