The consortium of FELS Setal/TECHNIP is scheduled to sign a contract with Petrobras SA on 19 December 2003 for the engineering, procurement, construction and assembly of the P-52 semi-submersible platform for US$775 million. FELS Setal is 60%-owned by Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation Limited. Petrobras SA is a Brazilian international energy company.

Details of the contract will be disclosed after the signing.

The contract is not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of Keppel Corporation Limited for the financial year ending 31 December 2004.

The P-52 semi-submersible platform is located on the Roncador Oil And Gas Field
