Techint Brazil´s upcoming challenge will be the expansion of the Landulpho Alves de Mataripe Refinery (RLAM), located in Bahia.
In Brazil, Techint Engineering & Construction signed a new global regime contract with Petrobras in order to develop the expansion of the Landulpho Alves de Mataripe Refinery (RLAM).

The scope of work comprises the assembly of the Diesel HDT units (U-37), UGH (U-38), Electric Substation SE-37, Local Control Room (K-3701). It also includes the Basic engineering consistency analysis services, detail engineering, material procurement, partial equipment procurement, civil construction, electromechanical assembly, conditioning, assistance to pre-operation and start-up, and assisted operation.

The contract value is R$ 1.3 billon, and the works will be executed within 36 months. 2,300 workers are going to be engaged to the project during the peak of activity. The Landulpho Alves de Matarife Refinery is located approximately 60 km away from Salvador, and it is known as the "giant" of Bahia.
