Oil fed to the initial station of the Abu Dhabi crude oil pipeline

In the morning on April 25, the initial station of the Abu Dhabi crude oil pipeline successfully received the crude oil from the Habshan Oil Field of Abu Dhabi, indicating the actual oil taking by the initial station (MPS).

Overall oil input process: The first purpose-made pig was propelled into the 55-inch launcher of the intermediate station (MP21) at 14:00 on April 24.The crude oil in the crude oil pipe entered the launcher via the manifold in the intermediate station at 16:45.The crude oil entered the 48-inch oil transmission pipe successfully at 17:55, and then advanced to the initial station 23km away. The crude oil arrived at the receiver in the initial station smoothly at 9:15 on April 25, and entered the 160,000m3 oil tank successfully after being switched in the manifold.

The overall oil input process was witnessed by the Owner’s Project Manager, the Project Supervision Director, the person-in-charge of the pipe operator, the Deputy General Manager of the Company, the Project Director Liu Xihui and other people at the intermediate station and initial station of the Habshan Oil Field.
