Pertamina and Medco Energi Internasional agree with Mitsubishi on the gas price from Senoro and Matindok fields. The gas will feed a mini LNG plant with a capacity of 2 million tons a year that Mitsubishi plans to build in Central Sulawesi.

“We have agreed on the gas price,”" Medco Energi”s President Director Hilmi Panigoro said, as quoted by Bloomberg, in Jakarta on Thursday (5/10).

Pertamina wholly owns Matindok block while the company shares Senoro block with Medco. The mini LNG plant will start operation in 2009 or 2010, according to plans, to meet demand in Japan.(***)
