CPC signed a 20-year LNG Purchase Agreement with Papua New Guinea Liquefied Natural Gas Project (PNG LNG Project), a joint venture between Exxon Mobil, Oil Search Limited, Independent Public Business Corporation, Santos Limited, Nippon Oil Exploration, Mineral Resources Development Company and Petromin PNG Holdings Limited.

By the end of 2013 or 2014, our company would start to import 1.2 million tons of LNG annually under this Purchase Agreement. With this latest new arrangement, CPC has further diversified its source of natural gas and helped secure stable energy supply in Taiwan.
