PTSC Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company (PTSC M&C) has won a major detailed engineering, procurement, construction, installation, hook-up and commissioning contract valuing $ 113 million in Vietnam.

The contract has been awarded by Lam Son Joint Operating Company, a joint operating company between PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP, Vietnam) and Petronas Carigali Overseas Sdn Company (Malaysia).

The scope of work includes 2 wellhead platforms namely Thang Long and Dong Do with topsides weighing approximately 1,100 per each, 15km infield pipeline and 87 ton PLEMs (Pipeline End Manifold) and PLET (Pipeline End Termination). The project completion is scheduled for July 2013 which supports the targeted First Oil in October 2013.

In spite of the tight schedule, PTSC M&C with a dedicated management, experienced and committed project team is striving daily to ensure timely completion of the Project meeting highest safety and quality standards.

14th May 2012 saw the Thang Long/ Dong Do official contract signing ceremony among PTSC M&C, Lam Son JOC, and other subcontractors. This achievement is the testimony of the collaboration and cooperation between PTSC M&C and Lam Son JOC as well as the trust and confidence that oil operators are placing in PTSC performance and service quality, leaders of PTSC M&C emphasized.
