Quicksilver Resources announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Quicksilver Resources Canada Inc. ("QRCI"), filed an application with the Canadian National Energy Board to export up to 20 million tons per annum of liquefied natural gas from its Discovery LNG site located near Campbell River, British Columbia. The license, if approved, would permit QRCI to export liquefied natural gas for a period of 25 years starting as early as 2021.
