Australian Production Sharing Contractor Santos wants to hold technical discussions on the development of the Jeruk field in East Java with Oil and Gas Supervisory Agency (BPMIGAS), BPMIGAS Planning Deputy Achmad Luthfi said in Jakarta on Monday (06/18).

“We haven”t responded to this. They have requested to discuss technical issues. At the end it”s only economics,” Luthfi.

Santos is the operator of Jeruk field with 45% stake, while the remaining is owned by Singapore Petroleum Sampang Ltd. (40%) and Cue Sampang Pty Ltd. (15%).
Jeruk field is in Sampang block, offshore East Java, about 42 kilomters east of Surabaya. (***)
