China’s Shengli Engineering & Consulting Co. Ltd. (SLECC) was awarded the contract on natural gas terminal of Jinzhou South 25-1 Oilfield.

Jinzhou South 25-1 Oilfield is located in Liaodong Gulf of Bohai Sea with the average water depth of 25m, the main facilities include 3 wellhead production platforms, 1 central platform, pipelines and cables among the platforms with the capacity of 5 billion cubic metres of natural gas per year. Having been dehydrated and stabilized on the central platform, the oil will be transferred to SZ 36-1 Onshore Terminal via the subsea pipeline, and the natural gas will be transferred to a new onshore gas terminal proposed to be built via a 86-kilometre 14” subsea gas pipeline.

The processes of molecular sieve dehydration, propane refrigeration, coaxial expansion and pressurization will be adopted for the gas terminal, with the processing capacity of 1.1×106sm3/d for Phase I, additional 0.7×106sm3/d for Phase 2. Now SLECC has started the basic engineering.
