This contract is of high importance to Fabricom, says MD Geir Storaas. Through this long-term cooperation with Statoil, we will develop and improve working methods and secure our position as a major M&M supplier on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Fabricom has been awarded the frame contract for maintenance and modifications (M&M) on the Sleipner field. The contract has a duration of 4 years and Statoil has an option to extend the contract for two (2) periods of two (2) years.The contract includes studies, detailed engineering, fabrication and installation work as well as operational support services.

Fabricom estimates the yearly contract value to be between 400 and 500 million kroner and foresee that the contract will engage between 200 and 300 persons. The work will be performed both in Fabricom’s offices and fabrication yard in Stavanger, as well as on the Sleipner field which includes the the Sleipner A, Sleipner B, Sleipner T and Sleipner R platforms.

Fabricom wish to recruit new employees related to this contract in conjunction with other ongoing projects with our company.
