Techint in Saudi Arabia: Haradh GOSP III was completed in record time

March 2006

On March 22, Haradh GOSP III, an Oil & Gas separation plant built by Saudi Techint for Saudi Aramco was inaugurated in Saudi Arabia.

This project, that employed over 2000 people at its activity peak, was completed before the originally planned date, since the plant´s Start-up was scheduled for April.

The works for Haradh GOSP III demanded a US$ 500.000.000 investment and were finished in January 2006. With a 300.000 barrels daily production, thid project has raised Saudi Arabia´s capacity to 11.3 million barrels per day (bpd).

Besides its maximum production capacity of 300.000 bpd of Arabian light crude, Haradh GOSP III has a gas-processing capacity of 140 million standard cubic feet per day of associated gas.
