Technip has been awarded a contract by the exploration and production subsidiary of the national petroleum company of Thailand, PTT (Petroleum Authority of Thailand), for basic and detailed engineering of four generic wellhead platforms with associated subsea pipelines and tie-ins. The platforms will be installed in the Arthit gas field, located in water depths of approximately 80 meters in the Gulf of Thailand, and tied to existing wellhead platforms.

This contract covers engineering services and the preparation of purchase requisitions for all long lead items.

Technip’s operations and engineering center in Bangkok (Thailand) will execute the contract with pipeline engineering support from Technip’s operations and engineering center in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

Engineering studies are scheduled to be completed in May 2007.
