The ROW2 of the A jacket of WC14-3 was started to prefabricate in Qingdao fabrication yard on Nov.15, 2006, which indicated the start-up of the prefabrication and construction of the jacket. It is the first jacket construction project made in Qingdao fabrication yard, where the South China Sea FPSO modules, the BZ34-1 A CEP and the A jacket of WC14-3 was constructed till now.

The length of the ROW2 of the WC14-3 A jacket is about 137m. The prefabrication and construction of the jacket includes three parts, the last of which is welding of the individual into a whole.
