CTCI has been awarded the “Product Quality Improvement Project” in Bangkok, Thailand by the Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited. The Owner signed the Onshore Construction Contracts with CTCI (Thailand) Company Limited in Thailand on April 21, and Offshore Supply Contract with CTCI Overseas Corporation Limited in Hong Kong on April 24.

The Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited is one of the major petroleum companies in Thailand. This project includes the revamping and expansion work of its existing plant units with processing capacity 120,000 BPSD, and 6 new units (Hydrocarbon Complex with capacity 25,000 BPSD).

The project is scheduled for 28 months, and upon completion, the products of Bangchak oil refinery, including gasoline, low-sulfur diesel, and low-sulfur and low-carbon fuel oil, etc., would be enhanced in terms of quality and/or capacity. Through this project, the Owner’s future earning profit will be greatly improved with the benefit of consequential reduction of environmental impact; and all these contributions have acquired the special attention and positive recognition from the Thai government.

This project is the largest overseas EPC project that CTCI has ever undertaken. The successful securing of this project represents that CTCI’s nearly two-decade of deep cultivation in Thailand is now recognized and relied by local clients and government authorities. While CTCI has upgraded its level in the overseas markets, the award of this prestigious project has also greatly promoted CTCI status in approaching future business opportunities.
