A basic design review meeting for the alkylation unit and spent acid regneration unit in a SINO-Venezuela 20 MM TPY refinery project was held from May 23 to 24, 2013 in Beijing. Mr. Zhu Huaxing, the vice president and chief engineer of LPEC and other lead engineers and engineers involved in the project have attended the meeting.

With basic design of these two process units passing the review, the basid designs of 6 process units including 3.6 MM TPY FCCU and auxiliary facilities, etc undertaken by LPEC have all passed the basic design review, and the detailed engineering design will soon begin afterwards.
