Last 31st of August , the KU-A2 jacket of the client PEMEX sailed away from Tampico Tamaulipas in Mexico to its definitive installation destiny in KU-MALOOB-ZAAP field in Campeche (Gulf of Mexico).
This octopoda Substructure was constructed by Dragados Offshore at its facilities in Tampico (Mexico). The gross weight is 3230 Tons and 80 meters length.

This substructure was constructed to be part of a production platform for oil stabilization originated from other platforms.
The platform consists of 6 turbopumps for oil handling and will be able to handle over 25 (Thousand barrels per day).
The platform is equipped with 3 Booster turbocompressors with capacity to handle each one 72 MMSCFD .
It comprises of one pedestal crane, three turbogenerators for electrical generation and for starting, one emergency generating motor.
