Toyo India bags EPC-LSTK contract from HPCL for Diesel Hydrotreating (DHT) Unit at Mumbai Refinery, India

Toyo Engineering India Limited (Toyo India) has been awarded an EPC-LSTK contract by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for setting up Diesel Hydrotreating (DHT) Unit at their Mumbai Refinery, India.

The DHT unit, with capacity 2.2 MMTPA, would meet Euro IV specification through UOP, USA process license. Toyo India’s scope of work includes residual process design and detailed engineering, procurement, supply, transportation, storage, fabrication, inspection, testing, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance guarantee test run.

HPCL operates two major refineries producing a wide variety of petroleum fuels & specialties, one in Mumbai (West Coast) and the other in Vishakapatnam, (East Coast). In addition, HPCL is constructing a new refinery at Bhatinda, in the state of Punjab, through Joint venture with Mittal Energy Investments Pte. Ltd.
