Within the scope of Iraq’s Third Bidding Round for the development and production of gas fields held in Iraq on 21 October 2010, TPAO was awarded the tender to develop Mansuriya (as an operator) and Siba (as a partner) gas fields. In this context, on June 5, 2011, on behalf of Turkey, TPAO President and CEO, Mr. Mehmet Uysal, on behalf of Iraq, General Director of the Petroleum Agreements and Licenses Sec., Mr. Abdul-Mehdi Al-Amidi and representatives of Kuwayt Energy Corporation and South Korean Kogas Company signed a Development and Production Service Agreement in Baghdad.

Development and Production Service Agreement of Mansuriya and Siba Fields will last 20 years with an extension possibility of 5 years. TPAO will be the operator of Mansuriya Field. During the project period, TPAO will produce 47.6 billion m3 of gas and 143.6 million barrels of condansate from Mansuriya field and 16.3 billion m3 of gas and 46.1 million barrels of condensate from Siba field will be produced.
