Four new installations – vacuum distillation of black oil, light olivine alkylation, mixing of petrol and isomerization of light petrol will be constructed on the territory of the industrial zone of Turkmenbashi Oil Refineries Complex. Designing, purchase and construction of new industrial installations is realized by consortium of South Korean “LG International” and “Hyundai Engineering., Ltd” companies in accordance with the contract with Turkmenbashi Oil Refineries Complex.

Large-scale project of innovative construction is aimed at further increase of the production volume, expansion of competitive product mix of Turkmenbashi Oil Refineries Complex mainly owing to ecologically pure unleaded petrol, which is in great demand. Demand of the world market for more qualitative fuel constantly increases because of hardening of requirements of international and national standards made for operational properties and ecological safety of commodity energy bearers.

Alongside with reconstructed facilities, super modern installations of millisecond catalytic cracking (MSCC), catalytic reforming (CCR), hydrofining of diesel fuel, purification of aviation kerosine are functioning at the enterprise. It is also constructed new processing plants of delayed carbonization with block of asphaltum oil deasphalting (UZK-2 DAG), preliminary oil distillation (ELOU АТ-7) and other technological facilitates of large capacity. Priority trend of modernization of Turkmenbashi Oil Refineries Complex is the increase of the depth of hydrocarbon raw material processing. Year by year, the Turkmen petrol becomes ecologically safe. The construction of four new technological installations serves for these purposes as well.

Isomerizate and vacuum distillate obtained as a result of alkylation, isomerization and vacuum distillation of raw alkylate fractions are the high-octane components of petrol. They are intended for increase of knock characteristic of motor fuels. While mixing with gasoline fractions of the products of fine oil processing obtained at new installations, it is increased the production and quality of unleaded petrol from low-octane. It is realized the refinement of motor fuel that means the increase of its competitive properties in home and foreign markets.
