VME Process has been awarded a contract by BW Offshore for eight (8) process modules. The modules will be installed on BW Offshore's FPSO for Kangean Energy Indonesia at the Terang Sirasun Batur fields in Indonesia. The modules will be designed to process 340 MMSCFD and include the separation & oil treatment, compression, fuel gas treatment, produced water, gas dehydration, flare, and utilities modules.

The project will be managed from VME Process' Singapore office with fabrication taking place at the company’s waterfront fabrication yard in Batam, Indonesia. “This project is an ideal match between BW Offshore’s requirements and VME’s turnkey engineering and fabrication capabilities,” said VME President & CEO Michael Thomas. “Our respective engineering teams have been working together to develop the overall process concept and layout, so we are prepared to hit the ground running. We are particularly pleased to be able to provide local manufacturing content through our Batam fabrication yard and are looking forward to a strong working alliance with BW Offshore.” Fabrication will commence this year and completion will be staggered through Q2 & Q3, 2011.
