Gazprom Neft has completed its purchase of a controlling stake in ZAO Gazprom Neft Orenburg, which holds the licence for the Eastern part of the Orenburg Field. The 61.8% stake was valued at 3.576 billion rubles, the purchase has been approved by Gazprom and Gazprom Neft boards of directors. The company is also preparing to buy the remaining shares in ZAO Gazprom Neft Orenburg (belonging to Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg) and part of the field's infrastructure (owned by Gazprom).

REFERENCE:

ABC1 + C2 reserves in the Eastern part of the Orenburg Field total 96 million tonnes of oil, 2 million tonnes of condensate, 53 billion cubic metres of natural gas and 10 billion cubic metres of dissolved gas.
