The oil pipeline with the overall length of 429,6 km and the capacity of 25 million tons per year with the possibility of further expansion up to 50 million tons is the part of the pipeline system “Zapolyarye – Purpe – Samotlor”. It will connect the cargo traffic of oil from the basins of the North of Krasnodar Krai and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug to oil refining plants of Russia and the world market.

The first junction of the route was welded in March, 2010. The construction of the oil pipeline was made in highly difficult natural and weather conditions. The overall length of the swamps and swampy places, which don’t freeze even in winter, alongside the route of the pipeline is about 60%. The oil trunk pipeline сrosses 113 rivers and streams, 8 underwater passages were successfully made within the planning period.

Forming the part of the oil pipeline the new oil pumping station OPS “Vyngapur” was constructed, the existing OPS “Purpe” was expanded, the junction point of receipt and blending of oil was built in the borders OPS “Samotlor”. All objects are equipped with modern machinery.
