Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) announced today that effective August 11, 2011 it was awarded a prime contract by Holly Refining & Marketing - Tulsa LLC to provide design-build services in support of its Tulsa refineries. The contract value is $38 million and the new facilities are scheduled to be completed in 2013. Work will be performed primarily in Tulsa, Okla.

HRM - Tulsa purchased two existing and independent Tulsa refineries — the Sunoco Refinery (now the Holly Refining Tulsa West Plant) and the Sinclair Refinery (now the Holly Refining - Tulsa East Plant). Under the contract, SAIC will provide design-build services for a new Sodium Hydrosulfide (NaHS) Unit, a new Amine Unit, and the completion of a portion of an interconnecting piping project for the refineries.

"We look forward to continuing our support of HRM - Tulsa with quality design-build services," said J.T. Grumski, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. "SAIC believes that the completion of these new projects will enable HRM - Tulsa to better utilize the assets in a more efficient manner."
