CB&I (NYSE:CBI) announced today that its Lummus Technology business sector has been awarded two separate contracts by a client in Russia. The combined value of the contracts is approximately $120 million; the first contract was awarded in the fourth quarter of 2011 and the second awarded in January 2012. The scope of work includes detailed design and engineering and material supply for numerous heaters for a refinery modernization project.

“Producers in Russia have undertaken significant investments to upgrade their refineries for the production of cleaner fuels,” said Daniel M. McCarthy, President, Lummus Technology. “We are pleased to have been selected to provide these important process heaters. CB&I has a long history of supporting the Russian energy industry through licensing, heat transfer equipment and energy infrastructure projects.”
