HRT Participações em Petróleo S.A. (“Company” or “HRT”) (BM&FBOVESPA: HRTP3, TSX-V: HRP), announces that the Ministry of Mines and Energy of the Republic of Namibia (“MME”) granted the extension of the initial exploration period for all its blocks, as it can be seen in the table attached:

“The extension of the exploratory period granted by the MME is proof of the recognition to the work performed by HRT, in particular the 3D seismic campaign - the largest ever conducted on the offshore of West Africa. With this, the company will be able to better evaluate its assets, located in one of the most promising exploratory frontiers in the world”, mentioned Marcio Rocha Mello, CEO of HRT.
