The OGX Petroleo e Gas Participacoes SA ("OGX") (Bovespa: OGXP3, OTC: OGXPY.PK), a Brazilian company of oil and natural gas accounts for the largest private sector exploratory campaign in Brazil announced today ordered to be OSX Brazil SA (OSX), pursuant to the Cooperation Agreement signed between them on February 26, 2010, the construction and charter of the Well Head Platforms (WHP) 3:04, in addition to 1 and WHPs 2 already ordered and under construction by Techint Engineering & Construction SA (Techint).

"The first two fixed platforms already contracted by OGX, being built by Techint, will be very important for the development of production in the Campos Basin from 2014. With the advance of the campaign in the basin boundary and obtaining important results of accumulations discovered, we are now requesting the WHPs 3:04, which will already be built in the shipyard in OSX Açu Superport, thus contributing to the goals of production OGX, "commented Paulo Mendonça, Director General and the Exploration of OGX.

The WHPs 1 and 2 are scheduled to be delivered in the first half of 2014 and should be assigned to Waikiki and Waimea complexes, respectively.
