At the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Russian Federation, President of OAO "AK" Transneft "Nikolay Tokarev and CEO of the Czech company MERO Jaroslav Pantuchek signed the Supplementary Agreement number 1 for the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding for 3 years. Currently the Memorandum is a document under which the companies is provided by an effective interaction and exchange of information on the process of transporting oil through the "Friendship" in the Czech Republic.

An additional agreement was signed by heads of companies in the presence of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in the Russian Federation, Peter Kolář. In the event the parties exchanged views on bilateral relations and discussed prospects for cooperation to ensure the transportation of Russian oil to the Czech Republic.
