Surgutneftegas produced around 25,402.7 thousand tons of oil during five months of this year. Compared to the same period of 2011, added crude output increase equaled to 1.4%. In particular, crude production in the new region of the Company’s operations namely at the Talakonskoye, Alinskoye, Severo-Talakanskoye fields in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) amounted in January-May 2012 to 2,589.5 thousand tons.

Since the beginning of this year, the Company has produced around 5,077 mn cub m of gas. Moreover, overall gas utilization rate across the Company as a whole exceeded 95% with 99% utilization rate demonstrated at the fields of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

In-house drilling within five months of the current year amounted to 1,963.7 thousand m of rock including exploratory drilling exceeding 92.7 thousand m. Compared to January-May of the previous year, development and exploratory drilling grew by 5.6% and 13.6%, respectively.
